DO'S AND DON'TS SAFE SLEEP FOR YOUR NEWBORN

DO'S

- Put your baby to sleep on her/his back

- Keep enough space on your bed to have a safe sleeping area for your baby

- Put the baby on a flat and comfortable mattress/bed

- Make the baby wear warm clothes during winter and light soft clothes during summer

- Remove any electrical wire cords around the baby's sleeping area

DON'TS

- Don't let your baby sleep in a chair or car

- Don't let your baby sleep in a chair or car seat as she/he may fall and get hurt

- Don't use too many pillows around the bed as the baby may roll over and suffocate

- Don't put the baby on soft cushions/mattress as it may cause pain to her/his back
