WHY RESPECT WOMEN?

• To create a better and safe environment for ourselves and our mothers, sisters, and daughters

• To make the women have equal status to the men in society.

• The negative mindsets of people around may make you negative about yourself.

START WITH YOUR CHILDREN

• Teach them to respect all the women and girls around them especially the maids, younger sisters, and classmates.

• Tell them not to judge a woman or girl by her clothing.

• Teach them not to neglect someone because of gender, like 'She is a girl, she can't play football with us.'

• Ask them to help you with household works like cleaning their rooms and clothes. This will help them realize the hard work you do.

• Make the boys understand that their body may be stronger than a girl, but it must be used to protect her and not to hurt her.

• Tell them that if they see a woman getting mistreated, they should ask others for help.

• Behave nicely with the servant's household work and set an example for your children to learn to respect women. 

CREATE AN UNDERSTANDING IN THE ADULTS

• Ask your family members not to shout or misbehave with the females, especially in front of the children. 

• Ask the men of the house to help you with household works like cleaning and organizing rooms.

• Ask your family to treat all the children at home equally and not to limit a girl just because of her gender.

• Either at the workplace or at home, make the males around you understand the importance of your approval (consent) or opinion/point of view to certain decisions.

• If your office management is not giving equal opportunities for growth to female employees, ask questions about it.
