Parts of Speech
Noun:
It's the name of a person, place, animal or thing. For example: Lokesh, Ekta, Shruti etc.
Helping verb:
Words that help the main verb. For example: is, am, are, was, were etc.
Main verb:
All the action words. For example: run, eat, jump, drink, study etc.
Pronoun:
Words that are used in place of nouns. For example: I, we, you, he, she, etc.
Adjective:
Words that describe nouns. For example: Tall, tasty, dirty, awesome etc.
Adverb:
Words that describe verbs. For example: slowly, quickly etc.
Preposition:
These are relationship words For example: in, on, after, at etc.
Conjunction:
Words that join two or more words, phrases or sentences. For example: and, but, or if etc.
